The Location

Dr. Garten will be interviewed by Dr. Tanner and discuss the economic and financial repercussions of President Trump’s first 100 days.  The President has called into question long established global free-trade policies, focusing on domestic industries and production. What could the repercussions for the US economy, employment and export sectors be in this new economic world order?   Will other countries retaliate against this “beggar-thy-neighbor” policy?

There will be book sales and a signing before and after the program of his latest book

We would like to thank the City of Norfolk Arts and Humanities Commission for a grant in support of this event as well as the Slover Library
