David Rezelman, Ph.D.

David Rezelman has taught history and world politics at Norfolk Academy since 2003, where he founded and directed the International Relations Fellows program, directed the Senior Speech Program, and in 2008 received the Massey Teaching Award. He has taken students to Canada, Estonia, Finland, Germany, and Russia. Before NA he taught briefly at Temple University and a variety of other colleges. He also served for eighteen months as a Glenn T. Seaborg Fellow in Nuclear History for the History Division of the Department of Energy. In 1995 he received a B.S. in computer science and a B.A. in history from the University of Florida, and in 2006 he completed his Ph.D. in history from Temple University. He has contributed about 28,000 words on subjects relating to diplomatic and military history to a variety of encyclopedias including the Dictionary of American History. He has visited twenty countries, every Canadian province and territory except Nunavut, and all fifty of the United States.
