Leadership

Honorary Board Members

A Message from the President:

Dear Friends,

Welcome to the World Affairs Council of Hampton Road's website. Our aim is to provide you with the information you seek each time you visit. Whether you want to become more aware of international issues; become a member; sponsor a student, high school, or program; register for events; browse our photo gallery; become an intern; or learn more about the World Affairs Council, we are pleased you are here. Explore at your leisure and come back often. It is your world, know it!

Our central theme is education- we aim to promote a broader understanding of issues of global importance. We bring world and corporate leaders and subject matter experts to the region to facilitate public awareness of key international issues as well as to raise the profile of Hampton Roads among national and international policymakers.

We appreciate your support through membership, donations, and sponsorship. Your contributions help shape future generations of leaders from Hampton Roads and help make the area more attractive to young professionals seeking a vibrant international community to live in.

Thank you for contributing to the growth and development of the Council and our outreach to high schools, colleges, businesses, and the community.

Warm regards,
Susan Boré
