Maria Zammit

Maria Zammit received her MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins UniversitySchool of Advanced International Studies, after which she worked as policy assistant tothe late Ambassador Richard C. Holbrooke at the DC consulting firm of Public Strategies. Prior to receiving her Masters, she worked in NYC for Standard & Poors, Dun and Bradstreet and The Asia Society. Since 1989, Maria has been involved with our World Affairs Council as Executive Director, President and Director. She has also served on the national board of the World Affairs Councils of America as Secretary and Vice Chairperson and has led national board delegations to Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria,Egypt, Morocco, Lebanon, Kuwait, Jordan and Singapore.
