Ryan Adams

With over twelve years of expertise in communications, grassroots organizing, broadcast and digital media, public relations, and project and program management, Ryan has dedicated his career to making a positive impact. His experience spans diverse campaigns and projects, where he has had multiple leadership roles in shaping narratives and engaging audiences effectively. He has experience as an organizer for various political campaigns and primarily focused on environmentally driven advocacy organizations. He also worked in local television.

In his community, he serves as a Board Member of the Hampton Clean City Commission. During his tenure, he has been elected as a two-term Chairman and Vice-Chairman, actively participating in and leading various committees. Currently, he serves on the Board as a Commissioner. Additionally, he’s a Board Member and Co-Chair of the Public Relations Committee at The World Affairs Council of Greater Hampton Roads. Simultaneously, he holds the position of Director of Marketing and Membership at Sister Cities of Hampton.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Political Science with a minor in Asian Studies and History from Tennessee Tech University. Additionally, he has earned a Project Management Certification from Cornell University.
